If I use a mod menu in GTA online, will I get VAC banned on steam, or just recieve a social club ban?

If I use a mod menu for online am I at risk of recieving a VAC ban for steam or will I just recieve a temporary ban for GTA.

P.s anyone got any suggestions for menus? as GTA is way overpriced and pay to play at this point.

why cheat? just grind or glitch, less chance of ban but you will get money removed so invest it in x80 protos
