How do I change a characters model such as Franklin or Lamar?

I know I can use Addonpeds to change my model in game but then the character has no dialogue, changes to michael on death, is normal in cutscenes ect.

I know it's possible to have the characters actual model replaced as I have had Lamar become a complete buggy mess multiple times without actually getting anywhere.

I thought it would be easier than it has proven to be and there are absolutely no tutorials online in text form or youtube.

If anyone knows please give me instructions on how to do so, I've been messing around with the files in OpenIV for 3 days now...

I know your pain, his videos are full of silly stuff, but as per usual, 95% of youtubers that do videos like these, give 0 ♥♥♥♥♥ about making a proper Description... Been asking in every single video of his for him to put BASIC INFO on his description... Like the Link for each of the mods, but he don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about it. :/

It's really annoying cause I REALLY want to get all of his mods there, I found the car ones at least, those were easy, model ones in the other hand...

EDIT: Spongeboob and some other mods are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PAID VIA SCAM.com I mean PATREON... You need to give the cucksucker money to download skins for GTA V... God, I hate these disgusting excuses for human beings...

Well if you want to change him to any npc you can with menyoo
But custom ones you will need gta5-mods dotcom for that

Except the ones that are Patreon exclusive and you need money for it. (Unless you're lucky and you find them free on a russian site, the way mods are supposed to always be!)

turned franklin into lamar and then i realised i unlocked ending D (franklin death) funnily enough the voice lines for lamar still work and he will grunt etc when falling
