Does particular clothes give armor?

There are bulletproof vests (price 20k) that give more amor in heists, but while wearing them you can't run.
Save a clothes setup with them, then tell the heist host to enable "Saved Outfits" and select the saved setup if you want to.

Bulletproof helmet provides limited protection against headshots.

heavy vests give 200% health in old heists (fleeca,prison break,series a,pacific etc.) but you cannot run.
helmets provide protection for pvp only. (free roam/deathmatches etc.)

like another user said bulletproof helmets give protection in freemode but also in PVP related jobs, Not sure if they work in jobs with NPC's

Some armoured vests give you extra protection in the old heists you will know you are wearing the right one cause it will also limit your run speed in those heists, apart from that they do nothing anywhere else.
