singleplayer takes forever to load even on ssd
i have to legit wait like 5-30 minutes sometimes just to load into singleplayer even though its on an ssd and also buildings and ♥♥♥♥ wont load in almost like minecraft when chunks dont load in and ♥♥♥♥.

Loading speed (in story mode anyway) is affected by 3 things: The drive, the CPU and RAM. The drive is read for assets, which are loaded into RAM and the process is entirely dependent on, and the speed is dictated by, the CPU. If any of those three aren't available for the game to use (or rather there is competition for those resources from other processes), then it will take longer.

I would use Afterburner to check CPU stats on a 2nd monitor (or use the OSD) while the game is loading to monitor it's clock speed and usage per core. Is the CPU running at it's correct boost clock on all cores? Are any of those cores pegged at 100% usage? Are the temps normal and below your CPU's Tcase/Tjmax?

Windows Resource Monitor is helpful here too as you can see usage and execution threads per process of the CPU but also memory and disk usage at the same time (check gta5.exe to pin it to the top of the lists). Is the game the only thing significantly using your hardware during load or are there other processes using significant amounts of the CPU, RAM or Disk?

If everything is working normally, i.e minimal 0-3% CPU usage, minimal RAM usage (at least 6GB+ free) and the drive is at 0-5% usage while idle, then the game should load up story mode in 45s to 3m, depending mostly on your CPU and SSD quality.

Obviously, an overclocked i7-8700K is going to produce much faster load times than an old bobo i5-4460, etc. and an NVMe SSD will be 5-10x or so faster than a SATA3 SSD. Likewise, a nearly full SSD of either kind will perform badly (more like an HDD), while an SSD with 15-25%+ free space will perform like it's supposed to.

Have you benchmarked the PC recently? How does it compare to identical hardware, part for part? (Run Userbenchmark.com 's or Passmark.com 's tests and see.)

He's not wrong, you've got a PC and if its a gaming PC, then you need to dig into the machine itself to find out what's wrong. If not, good luck finding an answer ;P

What he said was pretty much you need to learn how everything works, then you'll figure out what is causing the problems. Your mindset is too simple if you only thought he said "do it yourself" Legit learn how a PC operates, if not I'll give you a clue. Check your SSD inside the machine to see what's wrong, must be something. Might be dust, might be a fault in the machine. Figure it out. Smh

i dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ have a mountain of DUST in my pc, i got my ssd literally 2 months ago and even then that doesn't cause gta to take forever to load, and wtf are you talking about? i have to learn my entire pc to know why my game takes long to load in? you are no help bye bye

Jesus you are in denial, figure out what is causing it by learning about your PC, it's not bloody rocket science. Especially if you're running GTA, I know you have a gaming PC your parents must've bought. You're no help to yourself dude, when I say learn, you need to know why ITS TAKING LONG TO LOAD. You that special and in denial?

Pro Tip: My game doesn't load long, only takes a few seconds if not a minute before loading into singleplayer. I'm guessing you either have really low specs that it takes too long to load in, or you're just that stupid to be in denial about how to operate your PC. Good luck ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

thats why i posted it in the forum you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumbass, i DONT know what is causing it. do you think if i just open my pc it will automatically tell me what is wrong? I don't think i need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ degree to know why gta isnt working. literally the point of the forum is to try to help me with some ♥♥♥♥ i have and all you told me was to learn my whole pc and do it myself, literally during you being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ i already found some solutions to my problem so you literally have provided no help.

YOU HAVE THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ INTERNET, SEARCH SSD PROBLEMS. Jesus it's like helping out an elderly lady setting up her bloody computer. But in this case it's someone that's capable of playing a game and understanding it. Google is the number one source of information for computer problems. Search that out first if you don't want to do it yourself you stupid human being. God help us all xD (P.S When I say LEARN, SEARCH ON GOOGLE)

To anyone that wants to reply to this person, keep in mind that he is in absolute denial. Anything you say will be falling into deaf ears. Just advise him to search google for his problems. I suggest you just pass through, let him figure out his own problem. He said he found solutions already so it's been solved. Move along, trust me.
