Is fiveM safe?

My friend just told me to download it so i could play with him and i just realized its a gta 5 mod. I wanted to ask if its safe? He says hes using it for a year and nothing has happend to him. Im really sceptic about this stuff so i wanted to ask.

FiveM is a different app from GTA 5, but it requiers GTA 5 to work. It's safe, man. Nothing to worry about. I'm using it too

They should sue FM then for telling it is safe while it was not,and for ignoring the warning that is a few years old.

The game and player base will recover as new people grow up daily. Banning 100k people wouldn't affect the game.

Ironically enough, Rockstar's now purchased FiveM.. so don't think they'll ban anyone, but they hold the power to pull the plug.. however, I'm thinking they bought it with other intents..

Is it safe? For the most part I suppose, but there are malicious servers out there looking to infect PCs. So, be careful where you play. Play on popular well known servers and you should be OK.

Ironically enough, Rockstar's now purchased FiveM.. so don't think they'll ban anyone, but they hold the power to pull the plug.. however, I'm thinking they bought it with other intents..

I expect it to either get monetised or the plug will get pulled when GTA6 drops, to push / force everybody into GTA6. Honestly, I can't believe they sold it to Rockstar. Worst decision ever IMO.
