Explosive bullets too OP
So an explosive sniper can take down a fully upgraded Hunter with 7 shots. first shot makes it all smokey? like what kind of balancing is this rockstar. Explosive rounds need a dmg nerf OR hunter needs to have 10x more armor. Also the fact you have NO idea where the shots are coming from so you are practically screwed

1 4m+ chopper against a cheap exploisve sniper. Sniper wins? i think not.

bruh i dunno about u but i spent around 10 mil to buy explosive ammo since the research is always random

Knowing that sniper rifles, by and large, cannot fly, you can know that the shot most likely comes from ground level.

Knowing the approximate maximum effective range of a sniper rifle, you can know the farthest distance the shot could have traveled in order to hit you.

Knowing these two things you can immediately narrow down the area most likely to be harboring the shooter.

If the shooter is on a rooftop they would be more likely to be spotted at a glance. If the shooter is at ground level they must still have had line of sight, i.e. you can eliminate streets behind buildings or other obstructions from the area you need to consider.

Assuming the shooter is not off radar in any way it shouldn't be too difficult to home in on which person is most likely to have fired the shot, simply based on a quick glance at the minimap at the time the shot strikes you. If, for example, you see 5 potential dots, but only 2 of them could have had line of sight, and of those only one is on foot, you could assume that last is your target.

All of this requires a certain degree of situational awareness, but I assume that any half decent heli pilot is making such observations routinely anyway.

The point being that you are provided with a lot of information when you get shot. It's up to you to apply that information as best you can. It goes without saying, I would hope, that if you begin to take fire in your heli you should probably not continue to hover and present a nice fat target for every gun in range. Nor should you continue flying in a straight line, if that's what you were doing. If you're unable to get out of range before being hit a full seven times than you are either a.) a very bad pilot who needs to learn to use the environment to his advantage to break line of sight or b.) very, very unlucky, in that the direction you choose to flee in just happens to be in the shooter's line of sight long enough to keep hitting you until you go boom.

Since the latter is unlikely assuming you change directions/altitudes/attitudes frequently, as in any flight from pursuit, it's mostly going to be the former that results in helis being downed by sniper fire.

tl/dr If a single sniper is managing to shoot you seven times you're doing it wrong. You should have fled long before that 7th shot.
line of sight isn't always the case in gta5
because the collusion detection of building acts strange on certain distances.
experienced sniper can abuse it.
i haven't followed the whole patchnotes and my fav are coop heists and not so much pvp sniping
but i new it was possible to shoot through buildings with the chernobog or sniper on far distances.

it was a problem especially with combo of thermo googles.

it was maybe patched during arena wars update iam not sure about it and haven't tested it in the past.

The issue with the Chernobog is that it's slow-ish to set up if you're doing solo, And it has a unique label on the map so people know to avoid it.

If it didn't have that label then you could trick people into coming for you.

I was flying away at max speed and yet they could still shoot me a mile off. It legit felt like i was being modded. There was several people in the area and i flew away from them all and yet they still blew me up.

Dude your crying... Only thing that needs removed is the Mk2 Oppresor, now im getting teary.
He's crying asf lol And also oppressor mk2 must be just balanced, it should have missiles of buzzards and not missiles of deluxos and it will be balanced and not ruined bcs it will be almost same vs IA but not so strong anymore vs Players

Doesn't need nerf really. It's not like a shot is 100% guaranteed to blow any normal vehicles. Sometimes you need 2-3 shots to blow because lack of explosion impact, same goes to Pump Shotgun Mk.II with explosive rounds.
Explo rounds can cost you till a max of 11-12 millions so yeah, 2 hits to blow up normal vehicles are more than ok-

You're exaggerating, max rounds of Heavy Sniper Rifle Mk.II costs you only around 10 grands. Cheaper if you purchase max rounds of Pump Shotgun Mk.II, probably because of limited range capability.

Are you retarded lol to unlock the research you could also need to buy the whole 50 set if you are "unlucky", 1 of them costs 225000 and 50x are more than 11 millions
Well you didn't mention if you were refer to research price or ammunition price to begin with.
