GTA V is running with low fps just started today

My game just started having low fps today. I use to get 48 fps now I only get 30, I don't know why.
Can someone help?.

Maybe there is a fix in the cfg file or a setting I have to change?. I have every setting on normal and my resolution is 800x600.

I hope you can help me fix this people. I want to use the car wash in the game.

Specs?

My pc is above the minimum requirements and here are my specs. I fixed the problem a little with the commandline.txt settings which I read about in an article. Some more help would be great.

Core 2 Quad Q9550
AMD R7 250 2gb
8gb ddr3
Windows 7 x64

You have updated all your drivers and made sure you are not using V-sync

You have almost the same pc as me(q9400,12gb,gtx 750ti)But i can run it at higher settings .....maybe your gpu is dragging the fps down?

Min specs means min res.

Make sure u have vsync turned off. It will lock to 30 fps.

Same here, I have an Asus 2070. Been using very high/ultra with vsync and never had a problem holding 60fps until today. It's either the windows update or the Nvidia drivers update because other games seems to have the same performance drop.

I hope some one can help me because I am getting 30 fps and below, I also have vsync off. When I bought the game it worked fine. I was getting 52 fps, my lowest fps was around 48 fps and it was also at 1280x720 resolution. I updated my gpu drivers and also turned all graphics settings to low, still not running better.

GTA V is really fun and I really want to be able to play it.

Any idea what is wrong people?.

The cpu is old
