30-40 fps in GTA V with high end pc?
Here are my specs:
GPU: MSI Lightning GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Z
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz (Overclocked constant 4.50GHz)
Memory: 32 GB RAM (31.96 GB RAM usable)
Current resolution: 1920 x 1080, 144Hz

I get a constant 30-40 Fps on gta, but any other game is fine. no matter the graphics settings, if its all on lowest i still have 30-40, even on max i still get 30-40.... Please help? ive been to multiple discussions about this. its sad that my other computer runs gta better than this brand new pc lmao my other computer has a AMD FX-6300 Processor and a Gigabyte Aorus XTREME Gaming gtx 1060 with 16 gb of ddr3 ram and it still runs better than this one? when i check task manager, gta is using 30% of my cpu, 9 gigs of ram, and usually 20-30% of my gpu. PLEASE HELP!

Any suggestions can help ig?

The most demanding settings are extended view distance and grass, turn those down a bit and see what happens.

i did, i still have 20-30 fps? i turned every possible graphical option down and it still runs on 20-30 fps. i have even used the task manager to set it to realtime priority. still nothing. im going to try to reinstall it and it might fix it.

make sure your power settings are set to performance rather than balance or power-saver.

I get a solid 30fps mostly, playing with Graphics 3-4 notches away from the Highest Quality (HQ) in Geforce Experience Control Panel and I have a 960 GTX 4GB.

Game plays great, noticed some performance loss when I had it completely maxed out on HQ, so took it back down a few notches.

Feels like it's capped at 30, never goes under 20, I honestly wouldn't know if Steam didn't have the option to list FPS... regardless game plays perfect.. until it Crashes to Desktop.

Been playing quite a lot today, thought it may have been resolved as I haven't had a CTD until a few minutes ago....

Find it hard to believe you can't notice the difference between 30 and 60 fps...
