is it normal?

when ever i play this game the textures that load around the player seem to load slowly. what i mean is as i am walking, running or driving. the textures look muddy, cloudy within the area of the player is. Is there a way to increase the distance from the player the textures load?
I have everything as high as it can go, not the render scale i have that at 1.25 everything else is high and what not. all the sliders are to the right.

the system the game is running on is

ryzen 7 2700x

32 gb 3000mhz

vega 64 at 1750/1000

the game is installed on a samsung 970 evo 1tb speeds are faster then my samsung 840 pro.

playing the game at the screen res of 3840 x 2160 at 60hz

also so i don't have to start another thread does this game have VR? if not is there a way with out mods and what not. i don't want to install any 3rd party software that steam/rockstar and what not could think is a cheat/hack. if i do have to go with a mod is there a mod out there that is ok that steam/rockstar said is ok to use for VR.

also when ever i am looking the map and moving it around ever so and so the screen will stop pause for a second or so is that normal also?

it does have 8gb of vram. the gpu is a sapphire vega 64 water cooled and overclocked. it does not have the liquid cooled bios yet.

the game only seems to use just around 4 gbs of the vram gpuz says.

Sounds like your anisotropic filtering is either off or really low. In the settings menu it should be set to x16.

your talking about a kinda blurry halo effect..? surrounding the outline of the player?
try turning tesselation off. if it dont help ask me again cuz i had this effect but since the
random crashes got worse after casino update i changed my settings and no longer have it.
so if it ain't tessilation that fixes it.. let me know ill write up my settings

well again the "Relative performance n/a - sequential bench incomplete"
is showing up. no real idea as to why that would happen. unfortunately unless we can resolve that (even reddit doesn't know) its not gonna give any insight as to why you are having slow texture streaming.

I think i had the same issue as you a while back. The way i fixed it was to set the cpu priority for Gta to high.
