my account was hacked while I was in game

Just looking for any help at all, I'm very shaken up right now.

What happened is I was looking for the 100 action figures in GTA Online about 15 minutes ago or so, and right in the middle of it the whole server was teleported to someones MC Business and then killed by explosion. I didn't think much of it until I looked at the killfeed and it said MY ACCOUNT was killing everyone. Suddenly, I lost control and my player was moving without me controlling it, and whatever I tried to do with the keyboard and mouse had zero effect. It was like I was watching a youtube video or something. Everyone started to called me a modder but I couldn't tell them anything as I had no control. Then my end of the game was disconnected from GTA Online and taken to the GTA launcher where it said "You have been logged out because your account was logged into somewhere else". Tried to restart the game but my information was changed, the launcher claimed it no longer recognized my email or anything.

This all happened in under a minute.

Now, if you look at my Steam profile and look at my GTA V stats, you could probably assume why I'm so worried about what happened. I've spent a long ass time grinding online without any mods for around 3 years and if I were to get banned and lose all of that for someone hacking my account, I'd be pretty sad about it. I'm looking for any advise from ANYONE on what I can do. I've already contacted R* support, made a ticket explaining myself and the situation, all of that. I changed my social club password once I got the email thing under control as well. However, I have not restarted the game for fear of that somehow making the situation worse or getting the message that I'm forever banned from GTA Online and/or my character will be completely reset.

Report it to Rockstar. They will be sure to tell you to reinstall your game, thus solving everything. btw That happened to me too, only my character didn't move on her own... that is when they really need to re-evaluate the effectiveness of their so-called anti-cheat.

No. I was being sarcastic. They will tell you to reinstall because they don't play the game, haven't seen these things themselves, and don't know what they are doing. They are just reading responses from their computer.

Reinstalling the game is no better than using Verify Cache, and it will not solve anything. Don't bother to reinstall, it takes way, WAY too long to reinstall this gigantic game.

If you intend to reinstall, do so after talking to them, but unless you knew the profile name of the guy who hacked you, they won't be able to help you. Besides, the game only needs to be reinstalled if you have persistent issues. This guy hacked you, a person with a working game, so it would solve nothing.

Best you can do is tell them the exact time it happened, and hope they manage to trace him, but there were likely thousands of people playing at that time, soooo.......

You can pretty much thank Rockstar's faulty anti-cheat for this. If it would serve any purpose, I would sure as hell think it would be to prevent being literally hacked as the top priority.

A modder kept blowing me and other people up while it kept saying I blew everyone up. Another modder kept inviting me to his apartment and getting me stuck in an infinite loading screen.
Those were weeks ago and nothing happened to my account. Safe to say that you won't get punished either.

The "mfa" in the url is stands for multifactor authentication.

Have you used your rockstar social club password anywhere else?

Type your email address you used to sign up for rockstar social club into https://monitor.firefox.com/

Perhaps it was simply coincidence that your account got signed into somewhere else when shenanigans were going on during gameplay.

This just shows how overpowered cheaters are and how useless/non-existent Cuckstar's anti-cheat measures are. Jope you get this solved soon, though I wouldn't think you'll get banned or your account actually hacked, this happened to me and some friends years ago but it was not a cheater/hacker messing with us, it was just an error from the game. Just in case, enable the two-factor authentication.

So every cheating scumbag can just hijack your account if he wants to? How is that even related to the peer-2-peer-what-is-cheating-never-heard-of-it network infrastructure? I mean does every client send their login data to all session players or what? I still can't get over how bad this game really is. Normally you'd have to pull this from the store.

I wrote even RockieStary about the GTA 5 Online Trojan, they wasnt able to read about the legendary to be not cool no Money Drop Trojan, contact change.org they will take care of U, sorry i dont read all u usefull Comments...anyway waiting on Raid Area 51, friendly Regards
