Best first purchase?
I'm a new player who just finished grinding 1.1 million dollars. I currently don't even own an apartment or garage. I know I eventually want accsess to the casino as well as heists but am currently undecided on what I should get first to get the best early game money,

I could get the 1.1 mil apartment in eclipse, I'll get a 10 car garage with that and I can then do heists,

I could get a CEO office as some have suggested to me in order to do import/export jobs that make lots of money but I am not sure if this is the best first purchase.

I could get 1.250m and get a casino penthouse, but then I can't do heists but then I do get accsess to the casino.

I could get some sort of buissness I've heard their are a few that open up good money making missions...

So what is the best first big purchase?

i would say bunker would be the best. and after that bussineses and nightclub.
but before all that i would get a buzzard, its on sale atm.

All of this before an apartment? Where would I store the Buzzard?

I would go CEO then Buzzard, even if it wasn't on sale. You can then call in a Buzzard from the CEO menu. While it won't make you any money in itself, free attack choppers anywhere makes the game way more fun! It also makes travel faster and safer, which WILL help future money earning.

Buy a cheap apartment near your CEO office.

You have all sorts of various options after that, but free helicopters really transforms the experience IMO.

the buzzard is a pegasus vehicle. so its stored, honestly i dont know, you just call pegasus and they send it:)

oh sry i kinda over read that you dont have a appartment, do you have some garage atleast?
atm i would say yes, atleast the buzzard before heist apartment because it is on sale and its so damn usefull for grinding missions and stuff.
but on the other hand, you could buy an apartment and right away do the heists to get your money back.
maybe apartment would be the best choice for you, maybe you can finish some heists till thursday and still buy the buzzard on sale.
plus you can get the armored koruma when you start doing heist, which helps alot too.
i own all high end apartments and all bussineses, and the ones i used mainly are bunker and the nightclub. but nightclub is further along the way, because you need biker bussineses to make it profitable.

Nowhere. But you can order it from Pegasus by phone and pay $200 per request. Or you can request is for FREE as CEO in CEO Interaction Menu if you buy it from Warstock instead 'borrowing' it for $20K.

However if you wanna convert it as personal vehicle, you need to purchase Hangar, request the helicopter from Pegasus, then bring it to your Hangar.

true, the ceo buzzard feature is nice, but sadly does not work in missions, only in free roam.
and he basicly would be broke and wouldnt have any warehouse.
so no real new way to make more money.
except the vip missions, but you can simply grind contact missions instead.
with an apartment he could get his investment back almost right away and then buy the buzzard and ceo too.

if you wanna start doing heists, better find friends first. also better buy integrity or alta apartment. eclipse is kinda trash location for heisting+those apartments are expensive, so you would save some cash;)
Neko Sep 7, 2019 @ 11:21pm
and btw, if you didnt know, you dont need the 1.1 mill apartment, you can buy the 200k one and do heists. the more expensive ones just look nicer and have sometimes a nicer window view and some customizations. but you can simply get the 200k one and do heists, and then upgrade your aparmtent later. you even get 100k back from your 200k apartment if you trade it in for a higher one. just fiy

I'm starting thinkling of getting an apartment and then buzzard a bit later however do you guys think I should get the 1.1 mil apartment or something cheaper? Can I still do heists in a cheaper "high end" apartment?

Absolutely save your money and buy a cheap high-end apartment for heists.

Del Perro? Oh yes, buy it. It's a perfect place to start and it's literally right next to cheapest CEO Office in Los Santos.

del perro is worst location for heist apartment, especially newbie, who can't trip skip. and even later there is a bunch of unnecessary driving.
You need a proper apt to do heists. Get that first THEN the bunker. After that, it's up to you champ.

i get the bad location argument for your businesses and bunker and so on, but for your apartment for doing heists? they are all in the city, the apartments i mean.
they only have like a 2 minute longer drive, maybe, at its worst. thats nothing.
even if you do 100 heists you are just over 3 hours more time spend.
you gona wrap up more time changing radio stations in gta then that.
i would not invest 500k more for an apartment just that i save maybe 30 seconds each heist mission. not worth it.
for the businesses i get it, but its just not worth it just for the heists.
