Rockstar Launcher Failing to Initialize????????

I was just playing fine yesterday. Now, I can't even load up the launcher properly. Keeps giving me an error

It's just saying "Rockstar Launcher is failing to initialize." I've verified twice and reinstalled the launcher twice, and still can't get the launcher to work.

Hmm try this:
Go to Add/Remove software in Win and uninstall:
- Rockstar Games Launcher
- Rochstar Games Social Club
When the uninstaller asks you to delete game files, you choose to keep them. (I would),

Then the manual part: (I replace your username with $user)
C:\Users\$user\Documents\Rockstar Games
Delete the folders: "Launcher" and "Social Club"

Now time to look for leftovers in program folder:
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games
Delete: "Launcher" and "Social Club" folder.

Another path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games
Delete: "Launcher" and "Social Club" folder.

Now go to steam and before you do anything, verify the gamecache. Once done with that, fire up GTA again.

Unfortunately, after following all your directions, i'm still getting the same "failed to initialize" error. Appreciate your help though

ok. One last idea also involvin add remove programs, find every vcredist in there and hit the repair option in the underlying dialogue where available. After reboot then try again. What does the eventlog say? Is tere anything in the launcher.log in your documents that maybe pinpoints the exact reason.

Just rebooted and tested it, and received the error code #6000.87. Something along the lines of playing offline. Although.. I did just change my dns server id, so maybe that's the culprit.

If you need alternate DNS for testing you could simply use googles for a test. Need numbers?

Did it work? I am having the same problem. The weird thing is, when I made a separate profile on my pc and signed into steam, the launcher was able to initialize.

Just bought the game and its not even launching, Rockstar Social Club is not updating no matter how many times I've deleted the app and directory folders.
