AFAIK, Green Man Gaming and Humble just resell game keys, in this case Rockstar Launcher.

Isn't that just Green Man Gaming? Humble bundle is i believe mostly directly assosiated with devs

Yeah, the smaller indie game devs can directly sell their games through the Humble Store.

Many, if not most publishers sell Steam keys.
Devs like EA and Ubi sell keys for Origin and Uplay repsectively.
