"Unable to locate rockstar games launcher, please verify your game data."
So i dont want to istall their launcher but i cant play because this error appears every time..
I verified data yet still cant launch the game.. any solutions?

here too, i have the launher but only enter offline, history.

I also have this problem running in linux using any version of proton. The game tries to install the launcher, then can't find the files. I've selected GTA online like I read I had to. This is BS, and I can't play anymore.

And no - that does not mean you 'have' to use it. Those that do - have/had installation issues more than likely (in the way of api-ms files - as my current hands-on experience is starting to prove). Variations of admin use across gtav/launcher/steam .exe's can also affect how things start.

Okay i actually found it and installed everything hope i did it right i will check it now :)
