LOOKING FOR A FIX UNABLE TO LAUNCH GTA V.exe

Guys i need your help, i just updated my gta earlier then i got this new launcher, when im trying to play it shows an error like this.

"Unable to launchGTA5.exe due to a lack of privileges on the game library directory. Please remove any compatability mode settings or try running as an administrator."

I already did those things and still appearing. please help

I was able to get it running by giving the launcher run as admin and exemption from my antivirus, then it started working again.

That was the quote I was getting before I did the antivirus thing. Are you giving the GTAV Launcher priviliges or the rockstar installer in the installer folder? The one in the installer folder was the one I had to play with.

Where can we check those boxes?

Right-click the .exe file
Choose Properties.
On the Compatibility tab, select the Run This Program As An Administrator option.
Click OK.

Rockstar Games Launcher located C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Launcher

I fixed it.
Open------ Disk C - Program files (x86) - Steam - SteamApps - common - GTA V.
There right click "PlayGTAV" choose properties then Compability and there choose Run program as administrator.
That halped me. :D

I set all these executables to run as administrator and it works fine now:
-Launcher.exe
-LauncherPatcher.exe
-RockstarService.exe
-RockstarSteamHelper.exe

Just try to launch rockstar game launcher as administrator and then from game launcher press play on gta 5 and it should work, it worked for me.

I reinstalled the game and did as follows:

The following helped me: check the box "run as administrator" for: GTA5.exe, Steam.exe and rockstar launch files: LauncherPatcher.exe and Launcher.exe

Then, always close STEAM and run from Launcher.exe, it will open steam by itself.

Apparently my problem was having the Windows 10 N version! Installing "Media Feature Pack for N versions of Windows 10" fixed my issue immendiatly! Download: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/mediafeaturepack

I fixed it while i was chatting with the rockstar support .... you have to turn off steam if you want to launch gta 5 and this is only possible now with there own launcher... you can run steam after you launched gta again. the guy in the chat just said yeah you can only run the game from our launcher. and only asked if i did so lul rockstar is going down in flames with this ♥♥♥♥

If this does not work then follow these steps in order.

1. Run Steam as an administrator.
2. Run Rockstar Launcher as an administrator.
3. Then launch the game off of steam.
