All my money is gone!??

I have not played GTA in a long time because I ran out of Hard Drive space. I got a new Hard Drive for christmas and redownloaded the game. I join GTA Online, and my garages, and homes and stuff are all there but I ONLY HAD 50,000 . WHY IS ALL MY MONEY GONE??

Edit: for those who say all my money was cheated, I had about 1million that was from R* them self (when you log on and it says like 500k was awarded to your account)

I might have been teleported by a hacked once and picked up money but about 95% I earned.

Well the amount you got from that hacker is the amount they've taken away now.

Then stop being such a corporate richard sucker all the time. Rockstar is not infallable and has removed legit money by mistake. They are not as precise as you want to believe. Thats why they gave everyone that logged in on Xmas money for the Hermes whether they bought it or not. Because R* couldnt even be sure.

Yeah I just submitted a support ticket. I remember getting about 100-200k from a hacker, but i had about 2.5 million in my bank

Its a good business model.
Have broken anticheat.
Hackers/cheaters/modders mess up your game and funds.
Rockstar thinks you will go running out and buy sharkcards.

You've probably bought something before quitting the game and when you came back, rockstar removed the 1.6m which ended up bankrupting you, thus they added 50k so you wouldn't have to start with nothing.

Not all of the money is from hackers, and I know they have 0 way to prove if the "picked up" money was legit or not

Not all of the money is from hackers, and I know they have 0 way to prove if the "picked up" money was legit or not

If you pick up 1.5m in 10 minutes, they know.

That is true! But the last time I remember , I picked up maybe 100-200k from a hacker that kept teleporting eveyone and then I just quit the game in task manager
