Do I have to do the first lamar missions in Online?

I just want to unlock missions already but idk how, do I have to do the lamar missions? They are near impossible because 90% of the time your team mates are newbies who drive right into the parking lot and instantly die or trolls who are purposely ruining it for newbies, I remember spending hours just to finish that 10 minute mission because of my team mates on xbox, and now Im on PC and I cant transfer my character so I have to do it again

If you don't want to do then don't. I dropped doing Lamar missions since third mission if I can barely remember.

Then how do I unlock missions? They are the only way I can make money rn

you have at least two friends who play gta, where is the problem ask them for some help.
I can't remeber, but i think you had to finish community outreach to unlock benny garage.

you can also use the ceo garage for the customization of benny vehicles
so there is no real need to play these stupid mission except you want the shirts and caps unlocks

you can get other contact mission by calling all the npc's lester,trevor, ron, simeon
or you use the job option
Esc >online >jobs> rockstar created jobs>contact mission/dm/races/survival
you could also use the quickjoin option of the phone

man what have you done on xbox when didn't know about the basics

All I got is 12k from robbing gas stations, I pretty much have to do either missions or multiplayer modes but preferably missions

Also I barely know those friends, my friends list is full of people I added for trades

I remember just grinding missions until I had enough money to buy a company and start CEO missions, I forgot how I unlocked them but thanks

call gerald, madrazo, lester, ron they should have an option request a mission. Those are the contact missions you mean. Alternativly open the menu go to online>job>play job>created by rockstar> mission. There is the list with all contact missions you played so far. More missions come with level or playing with high level people.

Did you complete the tutorial?

Are there any other Letter Markings on the map besides the yellow Lamar mission? I think there should be a white or green L for a lester mission.

Do you get any Sms or Calls? (Ignoring the buy xy and player shipments stuff).

Can you make a screenshot of your map and upload it here? Please zoom out as far as possible befor taking it and try to get the Los Santos City as Center Point.

contact mission have rank cap same counts for survival.
I thought R* had removed this.
you can still play them, when you ask high rank players to start them. The mission can be replayed after you have finished at least one time.

If you skipped the tutorial (known to cause bugs):
Create a second character and complete the tutorial (Lamar picks you up, do the race, rob a store etc.) When you done that Gerald or Simion should give you a call and an invite to a mission. Do that with that char. When you're done put the money in the bank, maybe buy a tshirt or something cheap to guarantee a save. Then go back to your original character. It should recive mission invites from geral and simion now.

IF that stuff still not works send me a friend request i do some contact mission with you to get you in that cycle.
