why is my chrome black?

i have my settings on max except reflection msaa. i have a rx 480 8gb and an i5-7400 and 8gb ddr4 ram. what could the problem be? :/

Try to upgrade your graphics drivers, if you don't have the latest version.

Disable 'Reflection MSAA' , this should fix the bug

gosh, thanks for giving that info, i was searching for the past few days for a solution why my game had this weird thing on ultra settings and i only find useless comments like "its chrome, you have to drive outside because it reflects the shadows" -.-

have the same issue. I thought it had to do with all the mods I have but even original is was black. I googled and found many issues. turning the reflections off did the trick, although they do not look nice now. very basic

Just had the same issue with AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, after drivers updated to 22.10.2. Previously I was using 22.5.X (I don't remember actually.) The marked solution helped.
