There are several here who made the same experience. I have no idea how to contact Rockstar or even report an issue so great if you do it. Hopefully they'll realise they made a mistake and correct it by giving us back the money we lost.

Same here. I checked the selling price of the hermes at a workshop and it shows $0... So we got totaly screwed. Thanks R* for this Christmas "present"

Had the same problem Rockstar can i get $535,000 back in my account. Maze Bank tansaction log doesnt show any money leaving my account.

yeah its a known bug, everyone who had to pay for the free car will be refunded the 535k dont worry. write out a rockstart support ticket and they will probably get to refunding you quicker, but if you dont wrtie a ticket, they will still refund you it might just take longer. dont worry about it too much you will all get your money back
