Extreme Strike Vest Functionality

So I bought the extreme strike vest when I saw it, expecting it to function similarly if not better than the heavy combat heisting vest. However when I brought it into the new doomsday heist setup missions (the 2nd of Act I), I noticed it does not do anything. I have not had the chance to test it during something like a pac standard setup or on other doomsday setups, so would anyone be able to confirm whether or not it grants damage resistance during certain missions?

I'm wondering this too, and in the experiences I've had, it's purely cosmetic. Basically, we wasted our money unless looking like a black Jango Fett was our goal. Lol

Yes, we are serious lol during the old Heists, you could wear a black or grey heavy utility vest which reduced the damage you were taking. It ONLY worked during said heists, and were hoping this round of heists would do it too.

it does not give reduction. in none of the heists. just cosmetic item.
