Getaway Driver Random Event

Hey guys, I recently started playing Gta V and I skipped the Getaway Driver Random Event and I really want Patrick Mcreary on my Team, can I try again or do I have to start the whole game again?

Guess you have no choice but to restart the game. Though it's possible to replay the completed heist with existing crew you have found or still alive. Of course, replaying mission will not reward you money.

You only permanently lose Patrick as a crew member if you kill him and his buddy or feed deliver them to the Altruists.

In any other case you either unlock him, or spook them, after which the event resets, and can be repeated later.

FYI, there's a couple more things you can permanently miss in a playthrough:

• Random event "Simeon Yetarian":
  Only available between between the missions 'Friend Request' and 'The Jewel Store Job'. No blue map icon!
  
• Several of the people from the random events can be delivered to the Altruists, which means you will miss the rewards some of them give:
  --Castro Lagano from "Domestic" is a golf buddy
  --Antonia Bottino (mob boss daughter from GTAIV) from "Burial" pays you $60k
  --Ursula from "Hitch Lift 2" can be a new booty call option.
  
• Random event "Altruist Cult Shootout":
  Can only be done by delivering 4 people from certain random events.
  If you completed those events already, and don't have enough people, you can not complete this random event and the associated achievement. Pairs of people count as 2 people.

Not missable, but another great heist member like Packıe, you should unlock early on before doing any of the heists:

• Random event "Crash Rescue" unlocks Taliana Martinez, the best driver for heists.

Oh, the Wiki mentions she's only available after the Jewel Heist.

I only remember that I used her for the IAA heist with the ambulance.
