simeon second mission bug - help?!

im playing in story mode, and i go to simeon. cutscene finish playing.
i dont make any move and in 3 seconds i get a "mission failed" "simeon's deal was disrupted"
message.
i dont know whats going on, i didnt even started doing anything.
mission name is "complications".
i go there with franklin's car or any other car or on foot, same result.
what can i do?

If anyone is still looking for a fix I just retried until a skip option appeared. When I pressed it I got teleported to Micheal's house and from there on everything worked.

I know an easy way to fix this, Enter the mission in first person mode and as you drive away from the dealership go back to thirdperson. Hope this helps!

This option worked for me, turned down fps to 60 and set vsync on. Thanks for the advice!

Had same issue.
Solved it by going in front of the car Simon is standing next to right after mission starts, then it doesn't roll.
Afterwards You can walk away.

that actually helped me,i turned down my Refresh rate from 240 to 60, and turned on the vsync, applied it, and the mission didn't fail anymore. after 30 sec I switched back everything to my settings and it ran nicely. thanks for the workaround

i have the exact problem
i cant buy places because i need a call from simion
and he dosent call
i waited 1h straight and didnt call
and when i do a mission my session crashes for some reason
plus whenever i join the game, it keep saying that "new contact Lester"
like how do i fix this

Yup exactly the same for me. I noticed that when the mission was failing the car Simeon was selling would roll forward and the characters would slip out of place with it... I think it's something to do with the character animations desyncing at higher framerates. The game runs fine at high FPS... but if the phys and animations are locked to 60 I guess it can cause problems.

This same technique could be possible to fix any other problems in the game like this. Thanks to kiri (https://steamcommunity.com/id/kirib0t) for originally suggesting it. It wouldn't have occurred to me to try that.

I jave the same issue. If you look back at simeon yoh will see the red car aliding unatrually. Its completelry out of your control too

As soon as the cutscene ends set the refresh rate to 60 then wait like 10 seconds then set it back to whatever it was before, worked for me.

I had the same problem and I couldn't figure out how to set my fps (im dumb sry lol) but pausing right before it fails and setting the v sync to half caused it not to fail after i unpaused.
