To be fair, Trevor's ability gives him godmode, even tanks can't kill him when it is active. Franklin's ability is useless as even the races in singleplayer are extremely easy without it, Michael's ability is fun though. Overall Trevor is the most powerful character to play if talking about pure gameplay here.

It's very useful when you are aiming for gold medal challanges for missions and strangers and freaks to avoid cops when needed, thus makes avoiding them easier and saves you time.
