Orbital Cannon - Waste of Money
Just looking through the costs for the Doomsday facility features you can buy and stumped at the price they are asking for the Orbital Cannon.

$900000 in-game to buy the cannon itself in your facility and the either a further $500000 to manually fire the cannon every 48 minutes in-game or $750000 to Auto-fire it. Are you joking me Rockstar with this one? Did we go full US military on this one?

To compare, you are looking at $1.4 million to $1.65 million to fire a cannon that has a limited area of damage before having to spend $500000 to $750000 to fire it again (whilst also waiting 48 in game minutes), or you can buy a fully kitted out Rogue for about $1.9 to $2.5 millions dollars.

With the Rogue, you can select bomb people or carpet bomb a select area, light up multiple targets with either its explosive cannons or lock-on missles and then out manoeuvre any homing missle or counter Jets that come after you in one of the best dog-fighting planes in the game and will only cost $1000 to replace if it's blow it up. Okay you might need to avoid the pissed off players that come after you with explosive snipers after the fact, but again, the plane is a beast to fly and incredible hard to hit if flown well.

The Rogue might be old fashion and require a bit of hard, but gets the job done for far cheaper and in a far more entertaining way.

Or use the new "Hitman - Squad" Option.
Squad with Pistols for free.
With Assault Rifles 3k or so.

Or...or...or...you can just stay inside and kill people with orbital strike without any consequences, skills, danger and with stomach ache laughter.

A person paid 750.000$ to kill me one single time, I feel flattered actually

can't believe there are still people to find this cost normal.

Achievement.

Great move.

Big reward.

What a joke.

Well, just imagine a drone strike, basically same thing. Pretty much in time regarding the latest scandals. And those are expencive too. And also intended for a single target takedown, most of the time. True Pentagon role play. Nothing stops you from a group kill, just be patient, look for a right moment to strike. Believe, it is worth it :)

Its just to blow your money on cool ♥♥♥♥, its not really applicable or worth it. Theres tons of stuff in game like that.

no it's not, regardless of how cool you describe it, unless you got 300 billions of modded money, no one with common sense would pay so much, except maybe ONCE just for the steam achievement maniacs

Noone forces you to use it. Its there, regardless of your opinion. Don’t like it - don’t use it. Being personal and offend others isn’t wise here.

Is not a personal attack on anyone and aimed to offend. Is a constructive critique of something Rockstar has added to game and has bad mechanics to it whilst suggesting a better alternative.

If I were to think of a fix for it, lowering the cost to fire the weapon and possibly reduce the cooldown time would be good. So instead of it costing a minimum of $500000 to fire, let it be $50000, this is more reasonable and not a grind to repay for.

Then again, it runs the danger of becoming a griefers tool and annoying as hell. Though, modders have been able to orbital nuke servers for a good while now.

Its too low cost to fire then. Just imagine you deliver a car/cargo/crate whatever you doing, and the guy keeps spamming that thing. Just one Pac Finale could provide him with 4-6 strikes already at your price.

Sorry to disagree, but I feel the present cost and cooldown are totally legit, since this is not a tool for pvp or massacre. It is more like a troll or vendetta weapon, being fired once in a while. Also never forget the option to observe the map wich is superior to a regular Los Santos map in my opinion and completely free of charge to use. Zoom in on people and be informed of their intentions.
