The O'Neil Brothers - Information

Let me start this discussion off by saying it's "O'Neil" not O'Neill. I've seen so many people spell it like this and it's really starting to get under my skin.

1.) Mission Summery

If you played through Grand Theft Auto V Story mode, you most likely have seen a mission called "Crystal Maze". When you start this mission, you find out that The O'Neil Brothers stole a contract off Trevor and he is ready for revenge. So he goes down to their farm, kills them all (Or the ones that don't run) and burns the house to the ground.

2.) Ped Models

If you look closely, you may start to think that these guys look kind of familiar. You wanna know why they look so familiar? Because The O'Neil Brother models are the same models as the pedestrians that you see on the side of the road. In fact the model of Elwood O'Neil (The leader of the farm) is literally the same model as the other 30 brothers, he just has a different outfit. In fact, all of The O'Neil Brothers are different variations of the same THREE models!
These models are named:
HillBilly01AMM
HillBilly02AMM
MethHead01AMY

3.) Are The O'Neil Brothers Dead?
NO!
I don't care what anyone says, THE O'NEIL BROTHERS ARE NOT DEAD!
Here's why I think so.
They're seen all over the rural sides of Los Santos. They also carry guns and drive certain vehicles, just like a gang. Also, they use the same models as The O'Neil Brothers from the mission.

4.) Game flaw? or Logical Fallacy? Both?
If you have made it this far into the discussion, you might be wondering. If The O'Neil Brothers aren't dead, then why don't they immediately attack Trevor on sight like The Lost MC do? Well, I'm not sure.
I myself wonder why they don't shoot you on sight. My only guess is, if they did. You'd have to live in the city as Trevor, because they're literally everywhere! I think Rockstar realized that if The O'Neil Brothers were to constantly shoot at Trevor on sight, it would make a huge hole in the game because The O'Neil Brothers spawn all over the place, unlike The Lost MC where they spawn in at certain spots and certain times.

5.) Farmers are again... NOT O'NEILS!
I'm tired of everyone saying that the guys driving the tractors are also O'Neils. Let me be the first to tell you that they're not, If they were an O'Neil Brother, then the O'Neils wouldn't shoot at them when they shoot their gun.

Although it is highly likely that everyone in blaine county´s somehow a relative to another that has access to a truck,crossbike or otherwise and a couple of guns,I don´t think everyone in blaine county is to be considered an O´Neil.And I do believe that all O´Neils are gone as they all seem relatively fierce and aren´t too friendly with Trevor,especially after the mission where they crash a dubsta in the woods.They weren´t ever mentioned or seen afterwards.

Okay, so what you're saying is you don't care. That tells me and everyone else nothing.

If you wanted to express your utter lack of care about this topic, why didn't you just move on and look for another topic to comment on instead? Just saying KrayToast. Sounds to me like you care enough to let everyone know your feelings on the topic.

Actually, they are alive. The O'Neils that idle around Blaine County I told you about work together, just like the O'Neils from the farm.

OP your name is o'neil. im guessing you are a fan of them (in gta) but why? theyre irrelevant charatcters that appear in like 2 missions. maybe if your name was Lester or Agent 14 or Dom then it would make sense i guess

Just because a set of characters are irrelevant doesn't mean you can't be a fan of them. The Families, or The Vagos aren't really that important either, but I still see some fanboys running around calling themselves Balla East or El Vagos.

This is my explaination on why (for example) a Balla doesn't shoot at another Balla when they discharge a firearm. If the farmer was part of the "O'Neil Squad" the O'Neils wouldn't attack them.
