Minigun good against vehicles

The minigun rips apart unarmored vehicles and NPCs in seconds, far faster than the .50 MG. It will blow up vehicles much faster than the .50 MG can if those vehicles are the unarmored variety, but it will take a while to destroy a vehicle that is armored.

The .50 MG fires slower, but deals more damage per shot, and will be able to destroy heavily armored vehicles a little faster, but you will still require a very long period of time shooting to destroy armored targets, so it actually doesn't matter a whole lot. The higher-damage per shot might make it more desireable in PVP situations, but I wouldn't really know a whole lot about that, the way I see it, I'd rather fire more rounds than powerful rounds at a slower rate.

Against aircraft, the .50 MG might destroy some things a little faster, but with good aim, the minigun will be able to take down aircraft in short order as well.

Dont forget about the recoil change between the minigun and stock 50cal variant aswell. For me that was the sole reason i changed it back to the stock variant.

The recoil is fine for either really. If you go into first person, recoil disappears almost completely.

Yeah thats true, however first person is annoying to aim whit when moving (atleast i find so anyway). And the camera doesnt stay fixed on your target in first person (hit an bump and trows your aim off etc) unlike thrid person were it stays centred regardless of terrian.

Just ment it as another point to consider.

Yeah, I understand. Fair point. First person is pretty hard to use as a gunner when you're moving for any gun, but I like to think of it as situational. First person isn't so good in close range, but it's excellent at long range.
