How to change where Rockstar Editor saves video.
You can find this on rockstar forums but it's worth posting in this group I think.

Instructions:
You have to map the GTA V folder which resides in your documents to another location. You are basically going to be re-routing where this saves using the command prompt to create a "junction".

Step 1
Navigate to C:\Users\admin\My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V
At least that's what it looked like for me. This may look a little different if you have a different admin name or if your "My Documents" folder just says documents. If different, make sure you write down exactly how it shows for you as we'll be using it later.

Step 2
Go ahead and copy the entire GTA V folder on your desktop as a backup. Then delete the entire GTA V folder from where you copied it.

Step 3
Create a new folder on the drive you want to save everything, and name it whatever you want. I named my folder GTAVIDEO. So for me this is on my G: drive now which looks like G:\GTAVIDEO.

Step 4
Open your command prompt by typing CMD into your windows search bar.
Once opened, type in this exactly as shown below (this may look different for you, make sure you reference the location you saved in Step 1):
mklink /J “C:\Users\admin\My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V” “G:\GTAVIDEO”

Step 5
Open GTA V and start a new game. Then close GTA V after the new game starts.

Step 6
Open up the backup folder you put on your desktop in Step 2. Copy the contents of that folder into the new save location. So for me I copied the contents of my backup GTA V folder into my G:\GTAVIDEO folder. Do NOT copy the entire GTA V folder, just the contents inside of it. Overwrite when prompted.

Voila! Your Rockstar Editor should now be reading the hard drive space in the new location and save all video files there.

Some other forums tell you to do the Junction command to the "clips" folder which resides in the GTA V folder but I discovered Rockstar Editor will still read the hard drive space on your C: drive even though it's saving elsewhere. This method resolves that.

Why not? This is a really good resource.

Hmmm true. I'll adjust the title.
