Armored Baller LE or Schafter v12?

I am a noob online and I'm trying to figure out what armored car I should get. I am torn between the two cars stated in the title. No, I don't want kuruma, I'm not going to be that guy. Probably the only other car I'm considering other than the two I mentioned is the DoD.

My goal is to have a decently strong free roam and mission all rounder that can take some bullets and also not be blown up in one explosion. I like that the baller is supposedly good off road as I love to drive off road, but the Schafter is supposedly extremely fast and it looks good. Anybody have any suggestions? I will probably go with the Schafter unless somebody can either convince me that the baller handles a lot better, is SIGNIFICANTLY better off-road, and/or isn't worse armor wise.

Also are there special requirements to get either? I'm not a ceo or anything, all I own really is a 2-car garage apartment.

No special requirements needed but a tonne of money last I checked;
Baller isnt worth a utility vehicle like you're thinking, The really only good Armored utility SUV would be the XLS as it handles Superb between Asphalt/Tarmac/Dirt.

The Schafter V12 is still one of the fastest vehicles (and the fastest Armored vehicle) to nab but handles poorly on offroad unless you can master it.

I am a noob. I do not have much money. I want a CHEAP armored car. Right now I'm thinking the xls is for me. It looks way better than the baller and is supposedly excellent off road. Also much faster.

Of course I'm still considering the v12 since its fast as hell.

If you have enough backup cars to sell to get enough money, Then just buy the Nightshark.

Armor does not mean protection. V12 and baller can both take 1 explosion before they are gone. Wich isn't a lot and the windows aren't protected, so that still leaves you very vulnerable for both players and aimbot npc's.

Nightshark is better in that regard. But needs a MOC, wich needs abunker to be upgraded. The MG on it isn't that great. Fully plated windows are locked behind research and will disable use of own weapons, making it useless on missions / heists (without plating it you will get shot out of it). Pretty nasty vehicle to deal with in freeroam tho.

If I had to choose, v12 for looks, sounds and overall use, however:

try the zentorno. The rear doesn't let any bullets through. Good speed and traction. It does not meet your offroad requirement. Good starter car, just drive backwards towards npc's. Gone with one explosion but honestly, all tincans are destroyable.

Props for not defaulting to kuruma / dod. Also, i kos on those things (or anything armed or armored). Funny how something that protects you also works as a ♥♥♥♥♥ magnet.

you can try all cars in races. Set one up yourself and test them, or ask in chat. Loads of people are wilingky to show off their toys.

The Kuruma used to be REALLY annoying back in the day when there was limited weapons to properly fight back against it. It used to be a griefers #1 vehicle. It's not that big of a threat these days tho.

V12 of course. Baller is piece of crap on wheels, Even if you still want a SUV - better choice is XLS (it will also available for free request through CEO options)

Also it's not German like the other vehicles I'd prefer. If you wanna kill you have to go with the German stuff right? Also the kuruma just looks kinda...gay

Triple dot as much as you want, the crutchmobile ehhh Kuruma is kos. Your intentions with it is not visible, like with any other armed or armored vehicle.
