About Personal Hangars

What kind of aircraft can you store in a personal hangar? can Attack Airships like the Apache, or Savage be store in it? and, is it better to have them stored in a P.H. rather than having Pegasus handle storage/delivery?

You can convert any of your Pegasus aircraft into personal aircraft, storing them in your Hangar, and being able to give them new(ish) paintjobs. You'll still be able to call them as Pegasus aircraft, meaning you can store multiple copies.

The new Smuggler's Run aircraft are all Hangar aircraft.

Oh I see I see, so if I had, say, Savage, I could customize it with paintings, but not upgrade any other characteristic?

Yeah, you don't really paint it, just tint the painjob it has. So you can make it a more forest camo, for example. But Pegasus vehicles converted to Hangar vehicles can't be upgraded at all.

The new Smuggler's Run vehicles have a few upgrade options, though.

You can store almost any aircraft you want. But be warned the Hanger storage isn't infinite.

Oh yeah I have read on that, I do not plan on owning more than 1 attack chopper and 1 cargo gunship, probably Bombushka if its purchaseable, and hydra if I can afford all 3

you can remove them anyway, so not a problem reaching a limit

If you're looking for a bomber aircraft, skip on the Bombushka. That damn thing was Obsolete the moment it came out.
If you want the best fighter plane, Buy the Rogue or Pyro. The Hydra is now the worst fighter Aircraft in the game. It's only bonuses are the vertical thrusters, explosive ammo, and tight conversion. Doesn't help tho when everything else can outturn you.

hmm, what of Savage versus Hunter(Apache)? I had Savage on ps3 but it seems it got buffed recently for the PC version, I loved it dearly, and would like to fly it again.

The only buff it received is that it can take more hits now. The savage vs Hunter is a bit on the side of personal taste.

Savage pros:
+ Pilot can control every weapon.
+ Can carry more than 2 people.
+Unlimited rocket spam.
+Explosive forward mounted cannon.

Negatives:
-Handles like a flying bus with rockets.
-Has almost no evasive maneuvers.
-Is one giant slow flying target.


Hunter:

Pros:
+Durable
+Has rocket spam ability.
+ Fast
+Decent maneuverability.
+has countermeasures
+Can have a bomb bay

Negatives:
-Pilot cannot control all the weapons.
-Handling is iffy at times.
-Bombing camera is way out of sync.
-Big open cocpit.




I personally like the hunter, But the inability to control the main gun as pilot puts me off from flying it. So I'll likely use my Savage if I need a heli with explosive rounds.

The Savage also looks a hell of a lot better (Subjective, I know.) It is much closer to a Hind Gunship than the Hunter is to an Apache (the front of the Hunter is sweet, but the ass-end looks like it's mother had relations with a Dauphin or something.)

The back end is off of the experimental south korean stealth Helicopter that never made it into full production due to cost. Forget it's name, But Arma III has it in it's game as well. It actually looks pretty sleek and sexy.
