Can you store helicopters in your hangar?

Yes. But you need to be owner of hanger. Call the pegasus vehicle and bring them in to hanger. You can storage the plane or heli only 12 aircrafts.

Aircraft to big or once you pass the visible limit get put in the "storage" garage at the back.

Hangar floor has a limited capacity for aircrafts to store, but the storage floor is unlimited. You can literally take all your fleet from Pegasus to the storage floor of you hangar and still be able to call those aircrafts through the M menu. You can swap aircrafts between those two floors at any time to customise them.

I even have my cargobob in my hangar, though it went straight to storage as my floor only had room for two small craft left
