did you installed all of them at once?
try to reduce the number of them and see what happens
try to install all solo and see if it is one faulty mod or more like a bad interaction between different mods
when you figured out which one is causing the trouble, contact the creator for a fix
that is a lot of work
Now I have no mods. I want to know what to do (how to protect myself) if game will not work coorectly
If you DO have issues, it could be a number of things - INCLUDING stuff NOT on your pc.
At most, verify cache, rename my documents / rockstar games, and reinstall social club.
Tack on the usual - restart modem, pc, router - and work from there.
If you are experiencing problems during/after you've installed mods or removed them - you'll have to once again, verify your directory is vanilla and clean - and work from there. If you are trying to narrow it down - you'll have to test individually or in groups and work from there.
You shouldn't need to backup/copy folders if you run a mod loader, or learn to clean your directory. Nothing in the gtav folder changes when you run the game - anything changing is saved in the my docs / rockstar games (and sub folders). Once you start shoving in mods, you are entering territory where you shouldn't be surprised if something crashes.
Also, be aware that when the game updates - mods may not work. There may be goofy problems. There may be all kinds of changes or corruption - and don't forget you'll need to wait until the various mods/loaders are updated to work with the new version - if necessary.
You can use this screenshot to compare to your entire gtav root folder incase you ever need to clean/verify your game works properly without mods. Be sure to show hidden/system/protected files incase something funky isn't showing up. You can ignore date, time, size, etc - as steam's verify cache should/will/is supposed to correct those problems.
