It paints a picture of script kiddies getting legit players banned for no reason.
I don't want to be in that situation.
I ask if AutoIt is detected/bannable because AutoIt is really popular for aimbots/bots for games. I've seen no indication it is used on this game, it seems they go for the much more detectable modding of game files. It doesn't mean some legit hackers haven't produced aimbots with AutoIt for GTA.
The people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about having been banned are cheaters themselves. I've had cash dropped on me while playing several different times. I received an automatic cash adjustment to remove it, but no further penalties.

Kind of wish I had bought the game at launch like I wanted to. I'd have so much GTA$ by now and probably all the good stuff.
Wish they would allow or add the graphical improvements to the game.
At that moment you started the money making treadmill, rockstar keeps adding expensive vehicles, expensive buildings you have to buy to unlock the new "free" DLC
Talking about it, makes me a little bit angry again at rockstar. For treating us like morons, raking in money and never actually add any real content.
There is fun to be had with friends, no doubt about it. But I will be watching from the sidelines for a few months when GTA6 comes out, if their business model doesn't change or becomes worse. I will be getting the game by other means, and they won't see another cent from me.
ProcessClose("GTA5.exe") will not be detected as potential tampering with game executable.
Doubt it would anyway but better safe than sorry.
I disagree with the premise that disconnecting my network would have no effect.
It would function the same as if you had your network go out. The server would see the connection to my client is gone and instantly terminate my session preventing the script kiddy from continuing to grief me. If I'm fast enough and lucky none of the money would be saved to my account.
Thats not how online games usually work. They dont terminate you on the server the second the connection is lost unless you use the in game system to log out. Just ask anyone who plays MMO's for example, when your internet goes out you usually come back to your character having died even though you never saw it happen.
Due to this game being basicly a pvp centric shooter I suspect it would be within milliseconds.
Most modern netcode is designed to disconnect a player very quickly after their connection is lost. The netcode used long ago when servers and home connections were worse was more likely to have a delay. Indie developers are more likely to have sloppy and slow netcode that could leave you logged in.
Plus I keep seeing some sort of saving function with game and online play. If the client needs to routinely save to the server, disconnecting would still prevent this.
You could try testing how fast GTA online disconnects you with a friend.
Cordinate and both record to see how long it takes.
I'm just theorizing with no actual experience in GTA Online.
Does anybody know if Bandicam is safe to use for recording sessions? If not, what's a good game recorder for a lower end gaming rig? I ask because I'm pretty sure Bandicam hooks into games.
What in the world does Diablo being a dungeon crawler have to do with netcode? Like I said, I have never seen a game react more quickly than 5 or so seconds and I have been gaming a long time,
Obvious troll is obvious.
