GTA5 RP not against TOS?
I'm curious as to why the RP servers aren't being taken down by Take Two as i feel that it would be against the ToS. Is this not the case?

Like FiveM and other external multiplayer clients?
Maybe it is, but it isn't interfering with Online.
These are their own servers and it's essentially SinglePlayer with special scripts.

Really? Hmm, I thought it would be interfering with Online in the sense that it is taking players away from GTA Online. Idk the exact numbers on how many people play RP but maybe its just because I watch the developing stories of Blizzard and its endless crusade against Private servers lol.

then again Blizzard has a more valid reason to activily go after private servers

I found an unofficial GTA multiplayer server. Will I get in trouble for playing on or hosting one of these servers?

There are only two authorized Grand Theft Auto online services – the Rockstar Games’ hosted Grand Theft Auto IV multiplayer feature and Grand Theft Auto V’s Grand Theft Auto Online. Any other online Grand Theft Auto service is unauthorized and your use would violate the license for your software. If you develop software for or host unauthorized servers you are at risk of legal action by Take Two Interactive. Players who use unauthorized servers may be banned from Rockstar Games services.

Also advertising Illegal RP servers in steam forum is not permitted!

Aha! That is what I thought lol

With that said, why is this being allowed then. Not just the servers, but the ability to stream the unauthorized servers on twitch. Because, if i'm not mistaken, twitch has policy that will shut down streamers that do things that are against a games ToS

Sooner or later R* or T2 will deal with them as well, and I hope it will be sooner than later.

Lol i dont care for RP in general, but the highlight reels that I see on youtube are normally pretty funny

Yeah, I already see them banning potential shark card buyers.
Except no, that would strike where it hurts the most.

Two entirely different experiences, the assumption that those people would just come play GTAO is incorrect. I would submit to you that those people are well aware of the "quality" of GTAO play, and have no interest in it. If they do, they would already be playing it, it's not one or the other.

So you like to see people in pain? Forced to play the AIDS that is GTA:O instead of something actually fun?

You are a moron. Nothing will be done about them. Dont want to use them, then dont. Problem solved. Rockstar allows modding. Deal with it.
