Where is the border to Mexico in GTA 5?
I can't seem to find it?

The side missions for Trevor keeps mentioning there being a border to mexico where they smuggle stuff into and so on. Also they mention people from mexico get into San Andreas through the border.

The map is pretty much an island so I don't see how there could be a border.

You wouldn't put your border in the ocean. LOL
I would.

Fair enough, it just seems odd to me that Rockstar put so much detail in their open worlds, but seem to have forgotten a border which they reference in the missions
Well, theoretically speaking, there's no such thing, because there's no place as 'sandy shores' or 'los santos' anywhere near mexico.

Well in the real world of course not.

In the game they already establish that there is a place called Los Santos and Sandy Shores which supposedly borders with Mexico. Except Los Santos is an island and there isn't any border
In q fictional world there's technically no such thibg as Mexico. It's even strange they mention real life countries.

Well, since obviously the GTA 5 map doesn't mirror the whole USA, I'd surmise that border to Mexico is on the continent, which is simply not on your map...

So that means USA in this fictional universe is pretty much like the country Phillipines which is made up of numerous islands.
Or maybe just nearly identical to the real world, with Los Angeles on an Island as opposed to the coast?

You won't find it since San Diego doesn't exist.

Trevor isn't real. You shouldn't listen to him for any information. Smart people know this. Snarky people ignore it.
