dinput8.dll Crashing GTA V on startup

Ok, so i just downloaded gta 5 for the 5th time and while trying to install my asi loader and scripthook, my game crashes after i get past the social club part. note i have nothing installed except for scripthookv, dinput8, and native trainer. No i dont have a mods folder, and there is nothing but the files i have told you that are installed. im so lost and i dont know why it crashes. i know it is the dinput because i have taken everything out other than that and the game will crash, but without it wont. please help me.

Did you download those files directly from - http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/ ?
The last time I tested the download from there - it worked without issue.

And incase you haven't manually deleted your entire gtav folder after the mods-
Or haven't already seen this picture/similar - showing a vanilla gtav folder-

I downloaded them straight from the dev site that you said and my game will only work if dinput8.dll is not in the source folder, thank you for your help though

Are you running anything else then? Msi? Riva? Anything else with overlays? Close/end it all.
Vanilla game + the download should have zero issue... something else is conflicting.

Does it just crash? Is there an error? What is in my docs / rockstar games / gtav / launcher.log ?
What also shows up in eventvwr.msc - custom view - admin events when gtav crashes?

Well when it is first loading up when you hear the sirens on the screen it just crashes and says gta5.exe has stopped working, and i never run any applications in the background

You have to take the New updated folder from the Root of the GTA V folder and place it in the Mod folder but before you do that backup the update folder in the mod folder to transfer some of your mods back over 100% fix already did it.

For me, I am not running any overlay programs. When I click story mod it loads for about 30 seconds and then it crashes with no error message besides GTAV has stopped working.

if you guys are using the outdated native trainer, you will have problems like this, try using https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/enhanced-native-trainer-zemanez-and-others and tell me if that fixes the issues of it crashing.

GTA 5 - installed from the Steam with all updates.
Script Hook V downloaded from the http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/

It wont start not because dinput8.dll, but while I have Menyoo.asi in game folder. So try to check if you have no other *.asi files

The NativeTrainer.asi, installed with scripthookv works fine.
