Problem with helicopter spawning

Hi, two of my friends are having the same problem, they can't make helicopter spawn in the game.

I'm talking about those helicopters that appear in some roofs like hospital or police stations. They can make it spawn on free mode, missions or heists.

But other players (me included) can easily get those helicopters.

What would be the reason? Only latency/lag issues? Or something else?

Have the same problem . im level 180+ . Cant spawn helies at police stations AT ALL . But hospitals and other places are fine .

Why do you need these helicopter
pegasus vehicles is your friend always leave the ceo office in a nice shiny helicopter or tell your roadcpt he shall spawn another buzz

Yeah, is very frustating for 2 of my friends not to be able to get helicopters that way.

And the problem is not if those helicopters are useful or not, the problem is not fair some players can do stuff others can't. Thats why im looking for an explanation.

They both are 100+ level. Even a friend who is level 20 can make it spawn but the others 2 guys can't.

Latency? Corrupted files for having used some mod in the past? Some setting totally unrelated but important?

My friends are getting nuts with this problem.

You're best of buying one, I'm not at all sure about random spawns, as i'm rather sure most only just spawn during freeroam events. Aim for the buzzard man, it's likely the best chopper on the game. not too well armored, but has rockets and MG's, pretty quick too

If you refer to spawning as in "I'm trying to spawn in the Pegasus Vehicle" then police helipads were hever in the list of Pegasus delivery spots.

Othervise if my memory serves me right the only two helicopters to ever spawn in there are Police Maveric and Buzzard Attack Helicopter. Both are rare spawn to those spots.

You have the highest chance of spawning something there if the vehicle of your desire is already presented on the map (that's why it's easy to find one of police maverics there during PB - Bus, PS - Signal and Final). In freeroam however you chance will increase if you gain a 3 star wanted level allowing Police Maveric to enter vehicle spawn pool.

Buzzard Attack Helicopter has the same rule. If you summon one through Pegasus and get close enough for it to appear on the map or grabbed one from the spawn point of merryweather docs helipad (chance for it to spawn there is about 50%) or used CEO to spawn it your chance to enounter it during passing by police station helipads increases.

Exclusion to this is police helipad in Paleto Bay since it is only helipad on miles away Pegasus actually uses its services to spawn vehicles for players there.

Again, I'm not asking about the best method to get a helicopter or Pegasus vehicles.

The issue is very simple: in exactly same conditions I can make a helicopter spawn on a police station with 100% chance. But my friend can't (0% chance for him) . Why is that?

I know for sure level is not the problem. And he has a better internet connection than me. There must be some stupid and unrelated setting we can't identify yet.

For example, months ago lots of players reported that they couldn't host any race at all. Until somebody found that it happens when you load/start a race wearing a Tron outfit.

You see? Sometimes the solution is totally unrelated until someone find out almost by coincidence.

if you are talking about pacific glitch then there are specific routes that must be made in order to spawn helicopter. if not, then why bother at all.

sounds like a bloody mess under the hood
reminds me to cars, which spawn on the lake close to sandy shore
heli spawn is often delayed
so you need to drive slowly around the block
iam often waiting on the desert airfield for 1 min until helicopters spawn

maybe they messed up with the helispawn, while attemping to fix heli spawn in pacific standard

you should edit your post to spawn problem during pac standard ...

You're not getting the point. I can get the helicopter with 100% chance but my friend can never get one (0% chance). We've tried several routes without luck for him. Driving fast or slow too.

And any heist role gives the same result. Me always getting the helicopter and never my friend.

In other words, I can always get the helicopter in free mode, missions or heists. But my friend CAN'T (never) even when following the exactly same steps I taught him.

im in the same position aswell, im level 451 and i will never get the helicopter to spawn at the police station during missions like PAX standard final, During the rest of the setups its so so for other regular helicopter spawn locations

i remember back on the 360 the helicopters that spawned were based on level, so past a sirtin point the helicopters you would see spawned for you would only be buzzards and not maverics or froggers exetra

but your correct in your thinking this is not an issue of method, its an issue of somthing else, Rank i dont think is the factor in this one, couldnt tell you why im at the point were i will attempt a restart on the game and one by one change my settings, I will leave a response with my findings unless some one else cares to post a solution

Rabanito, Milo34! small world. I play with you both and are on my friends list. Anyhow, yea you have to have completed a certain part of the story in order to spawn helis. Milo34 confirmed it.
