Do Flightsticks/Joysticks work in GTA V (2017)
Around the end of 2015 is the last posts i've found of this topic, I am looking at buying the Extreme 3D Pro Joystick from Logitech and would like to know if it works with GTA V, (please no posts about just using a gamepad, I have a 360 controller and really dislike it for flying)

GTA doesnt officaly support those. You might get it to work with some fiddling but no promises.

You can get a program for key bindings

What program would you recommend?
chris.boney2 Jan 13, 2017 @ 10:00am

So x360ce uses DLL injetion, some mods also use this, if I use it will I get banned?
Reddy Jan 13, 2017 @ 5:14pm
The short answer is No. Not officially nor natively.

Bog21, Send a ticket to rockstar to see their stance on it. That way you know exactly where you stand if something should happen. May take a week but at least you know.

No.
That's the short answer.

The long answer is yes, you may..if you try joining GTA Online or are already in GTA Online prior/during injection.

people have been using x360ce since the game was released and Not 1 Single report of a ban, so no,, you wont get banned.

stop trying to scare monger by spreading old wives tales.

I'm not trying to "scare monger". I said you may. I also gave context as to why you might if you will.

Please stop taking things out of context and reading only what you want to read. You're not being helpful.

your long answer, is yes, you may.
my long answer is -
i know many ppl, including myself, who have man caves dedicated to games like gta5 and are all using x360ce or joy-to-key type software in some way or other.
if anyone had been banned for using such things then i'd know about it and we'd certainly hear about it on the forum.

case closed.
(apart from no actual guarantee of All periperals working seamlessly with x360ce).

Good for you, mr. know it all. The fact of the matter is, GTA Onlines anti-cheat will detect the vast majority of injections into the executable.
