Stuck on the Union Depository Heist when arriving at the gate

This is the first time that happened to me. In the Big Score mission, I already intercepted the bank trucks and then drove to the gate, however upon arriving the scene doesn't start, nor can I do anything. The truck is stuck there, and the gaurd is standing there doing nothing. I restarted the mission twice already but this keeps happening.

Can someone help me? Thanks.

What does the mission objective at the bottom of your screen, say?

It was to simply drive to the depository gate after intercepting the trucks. I did so and after arriving at the destination marker, nothing is happening.

I just tried to skip through the sections by rapidly killing myself but after the 2nd section it's an infinite load.

I'm not sure. I'm more of a hands on kind of guy, so a video might help me understand what's happening, better. Sorry.

Why even post then if you're that clueless and unable to help?

Don't do that killing thing, it's a bad idea.
Have you tried switching to another character? Sometimes that triggers the scenes even if you can't switch.
Otherwise the Big Score is known to cause problems from crashes to freezes, if nothing helps you have to restart the Heist and go from there.
Not much else to say, the game simply has some unfixed bugs and problems in regards to some of the missionss.

I see that you have mods installed. Do you think that any of your mods are messing up the mission scripts?


EDIT: Do you think you could upload and provide a link to the save you're using when encountering this issue? I'd like to try to recreate it. I think the mod(s) you're using might be conflicting with the mission scripts, or you're going too fast and too far ahead of the other truck.

I saw that it was fairly far behind you, and not moving when you were stuck at the marker.

I already tried starting the mission with another character, rather than Michael. Also I can't switch throughout the mission.

I've already restarted the mission multiple times. Same results.

This issue persists even after you restart your game? I've seen other people mentioning this issue recently after seeing this thread. It's really strange...it might just be an issue with the latest game update though.

Ugh, pretty close to giving up. If I can't figure it out I'll probably have to reinstall the game.

Well, I already did a fresh resintall of the game and now it works.
Note to Self: Finish the story before modding the game.
