I accidentally deleted dlclist.xml
Anyways, I downloaded an add-on car mod, and did all of the procedures and ran the game to make sure that it was working. It didn't work, so I investigated the extratitleupdate.meta, seemed pretty good. I tried to open dlclist.xml and for some absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason, I thought "Delete" was "Extract" so I just clicked on it and realized my mistake. I was pretty sleepy and tired, mind you and I don't backup my mods (which is totally my fault, I'm still mentally punching my face as I'm typing this), does verifying the in-game cache reacquire the file that I deleted, or do I have to reinstall the whole game in order retrieve back that one file?

I think verifying files should work.

If you only deleted the file through the context menu (the menu that pops up when you right click), then the file should be in your recycle bin. Otherwise, just verify your game cache.

(sorry for necro-bumping) Yeah, but the thing is. What if you put it IN a mods folder, and you check the recycle bin, and its not there? I mean, you COULD try making one from scratch.....but that's alot of time.
