Am I safe if I deposit modded money?

So a modder dropped some modded money on my head a while back and I spent most of it but I still have 100k. I have been keeping 100k in my wallet and not in my bank so I don't get banned because I was told if you don't deposit the money you won't get banned. I am getting tired of losing my legit money from dying and other things because it is cutting into my profit since it sin't in my bank. Is it safe to deposit this after a while, it is becoming a hassle and I don't wanna get banned :/

If you hop sessions often enough you will come across one that has someone giving it out like there's no tomorrow. No asking needed, usually.

You won't be banned, if you were banned for a cheater spawning money on you by force that would break Rockstars ToS and they could get a lawsuit for it.

They ban you if you get someone else to cheat for you. For example a cheater is giving away money and you beg him for some, that will get you banned (Which is what most of the people who say they got banned for no reason are guilty of), another common ban reason is modding the game which goes against the rules of modding the game (I am against the idea of banning someone for single player modding personally), and the third way of getting banned obviously is cheating yourself. Albeit some cheaters do find loopholes to get other players banned such as the weapon gift abuse which has now been patched.

Think of it kind of like hiring a hitman to kill someone. All the people crying on the forums about being banned is the customer, the cheater is the hitman. They begged the cheater for money and got caught in the act.

Nope. Never ask. I just get. If someone asks, get busted asking, then get banned for "just recieving money" then they're pretty much lying.

Which is why I never believe anyone who says they got banned for no reason. I never download ANY mods (if I did I would be smart enough to remove them before going online) and I never ask for money. That's just asking to be banned. During Xmas, and especially during the 1st year of GTA, you could get hundreds of thousands of dollars in a few seconds. Now it's much slower but it's still possible.

some of them do like the aimbots and general angry trolls , ive had the most fun i ever have in gta5 for a while and that was with a modder in the game it was maybe a month ago he was spawning stuff all around talking to people they wanted things spawned to try out planes/cars some even ask for things to be stuck to them.

there were jump ramps and huge planes people were using peopel swarmed to him some people went into passive mode and messed around i think most people in that session had fun as he didnt use the mods in a bad way towards players

those sorts of modder seem to be rare

if you get modded $$ do not bank it...its what every modder will tell you and most players who know things about the game will say so id listen to them and not the randoms pretending they know stuff in this thread

Dont let these people kid you. 99% of the bans are correct. They didnt get banned for "nothing". You wont get banned for receiving modded money if you dont ask for it.

Ive had money dropped on me numerous times and wasnt banned for it. They adjusted my account for one of them by taking away some of the modded money but that was it. I banked all of it and spent most of it though.

Prove? They don't have to prove anything to anyone, they can ban you whenever they want, it's their game.

If you're wondering how they can be sure of that, it's extremely easy, it's called logs.

R* has logs server side that shows everything that happens and is said by players.

So catching a player begging/asking for money to a cheater is easy.

These kind of people are the ones who need to be banned "I didn't ask for money, just found a cheater cheating it to me, dur dur", like seriously? You accept cheaters money and think you can just walk away?

Use two different accounts get modders to mod both put money in the bank in one account don't on the other. Then ask questions.
