Female Offline Character.

Why isn't there a female offline character? Some people don't want to play online and then are forced to play another gender they don't want to.

There just isn't. I'm sure the market is very heavily male players that feel the same as you and don't want to play another gender.

I'm sure it is just an economics issue. Risk vs rewards.

actually rockstar made a statement of why there isn't a female protagonist in the offline story.

also you aren't "forced" to play anything. Hate it when people say crap like that, as if someone is literally standing next to you with a weapon and making you play. If you feel so strongly about it then just don't play, sheesh.

It just comes down to the same thing on the otherside, They didnt want to create a female role and people shouldnt force them to, Its not anti female. its not putting down the other gender, they just didnt do it and thats just how it is. if some one wants to play a female character you can play it online, if thats not good enough then maybe this wasnt the game for you. there are alot of other games out there with female main character roles. think everyone wanted to play a female in tomb raider? or wanted to play as Jill in resident evil 3? Try games like skyrim or fallout, that will fill your multigender requirements.

agreed, not everything needs to be bogged down in gender politics. If the story doesn't fit well around a female protagonist, or a male protagonist it's not the end of the world. There are games out there as well as ones coming up soon that give the player the choice of their gender (ME Andromeda comes to mind) Not all games need to do that if it doesn't fit the narrative.

They could have just added a 4th character (female) to the storyline with its own set of missions. (michaels daughter for example) she was trying to do so much that her dad wouldn't allow.

The reason why there is no female character in single player is that criminals like those seen in gta are rarely female in real world. It just wouldn't seem realistic.

A good white chick should not be categorised like that. They are equal or better than Rockstar employees. This isn't about scrubby gfs of trash in NY and NJ. This is about decent chicks I just think Rockstar is being extremely sexist legitimately. The reason why they feel safe ignoring thiis is because the trash is their base and they think they can get away with it. Honestly there are trash males all over the place, and a good white chick is shown disrespect by the Rockstar employees. It's not right and they're bad.

Not only that there are lgbt guys (see that appeal to the Rockstar employees friends who they ignore too?) and straight guys who like playing chicks in games.
