Controller support for pc

Hey guys just wondering I'm trying to use my controller for gta V PC, using both a playstation 4 and wired 360 controller, the gamepad calibration doesn't work? The controllers are working with the game because I can walk around but most don't due to not being calibrated? Anyone got any idea how to fix? Thanks in advance

get a xbox one wired controller it works like a charm

You need to enable big picture, go to settings and enable PS4 controller support.

Note that you don't need to do this more than once, when you've set it up you can return steam to normal.

dont use the controller with big picture, will work as a steam controller which is horrible, just download an emulator for the ps4 controller and use wired or bluetooth, DO NOT use the controller throught big picture

dont use the controller with big picture, will work as a steam controller which is horrible, just download an emulator for the ps4 controller and use wired or bluetooth, DO NOT use the controller throught big picture

You know you can make it work just like the PS4 controller... Right?

i tried, and failed and wasted like half an hour, i preefer to use it as an xbox controller instead to save me the hassle

It takes 5 minutes. You just find the controller scheme made by someone from the community.

use steam controller :) alot cusomizations best controler ever :)

oh hell nah, because what that is it maps pc controls to a controller, so no, i rather use the controller with proper support from the game itself

Ds4 Windows for ps4 controller. Software is completely safe and customizable. You can even change lights and keybinds.

Which is the exact same thing you can do if you enable the PS4 controller option in Big Picture.

Seems like you're doing something wrong then, if you've not gotten it to work you shouldn't claim it just maps the keyboard controls to a controller when it uses the Steam controller as a basic scheme for the button layout then transmit them into something the Dualshock 4 can read.

If you are using xbox controller you dont need to calibrate, calibration is only for non xbox controllers, like PS4, Logitech, etc.., all controllers that arent Microsoft/Windows official!

The fact that this isn't already a built in feature for PC gta is crazy to me. How did they forget this on its release?
