Where is the settings folder?
I want to edit some stuff in the settings folder, every video I watch or post I read does not show how to access it through steam download. Like im in Steam APPS > Common > GTAV > and I dont see a settings folder, am i missing something?

If you have social club folder there, you should have a gtav folder there - especially if your gtav loads up and works fine. In some win10 setups, those folders can appear under Onedrive - and you'd probably be better off just searching for settings.xml.

edit - regards to the 2022 bump. The op didn't even see a 'gtav' folder - back then, that signified other issues. Regardless, searching for settings.xml on the pc should have found it - regardless of file extensions showing. Even better if you narrowed it down to searching in my documents (or c / users / <username>) Regardless - not much has changed with this file/location since.

How do I search for it on windows 10? I just did it in the folder in top right and got like 100 results, sorry how would a dumby go about searching settings.xml

You go to my documents, then Rockstar Games, then GTA V. There should be a document named settings.xml.
