How do you select research in the bunker?

I cannot figure out how to choose the research I want completed, it simply chooses it for me. Can I not choose the specific item I want researched? I just want balistic armor :/

All the normal MKII weapon upgrades are available right away and are done in the Command Center. In less than 5 minutes the weapons upgrade room was pointless. LOL.

You need to unlock the new attachments for MK2's, which is disapointing.

Do the upgraded guns even have any significant benefit other then being able to attach muzzle devices that better the accuracy lightly? I mean I'm sure the Heavy barrel does one or two things but still, comparing the damage right out of the gate and without any of the custom ammo types upgrading seems somewhat pointless.

i dont realy notice much difference in damage tbh. also for some reason all my mk2 guns have very limited ammo the max i can carry is around 350 per gun

i wasnt going to bother upgrading but had the spare money after buying the bunker and the vehicles so thought why not.
