Can Modders fight Modders?
So if you play online, you most likely get assulted by a modder at least once or twice a week. Sometimes I wish I knew how to do that stuff so I can fight back. Then I was wondering is it even possible? Has anyone ever witnessed 2 modders attacking each other?

Yeah, and when one gets banned for "defending" himself. They come here to complain about how its unfair they got banned.

So dont do it, move to another session. You just giving them what they want anyway.

I don't have the ambition to learn how to hack. I guess i just have wishful thinking hoping that maybe some good modders exists and fight the bad ones.

No learning to it, they just use a program they download.
Its a simple program that looks like a trainer. Any 8 year old can pay for it and use it, thats why theres really nothing you can do about them.

Ewwwww thats mentally crushing, I thought these people were at least some what smart or skilled with computers. To know they are just mouth breathers with an easy to use program is demoralizing. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
Yep. They just press a few buttons on an easy to use UI and it rains money on them and friends and missles and molotovs on everyone else.

Can a cheater freeze the game of another cheater with a mod menu ? like troll each other to death
Weert Gilders Apr 15, 2017 @ 1:15pm
jedi vs sith

More like tard vs tard.
They could cause the other guy to crash by doing things like teleporting them non-stop, spawning a ♥♥♥♥ ton of cars, spawning a ton of npcs on them, or by f-ing with their physics.
They can't really. They mostly get their hacks from the same place. If they go after another hacker he might report them and then they won't be able to buy hacks from them anymore, they blacklist certain people. Not sure how they do it though.

The hacking is bascially just creating packets with different data in them. B/c GTA V runs with full trust of the client it takes the data and uses it to spawn and/or move objects according to data in the packet. This is what happens when you create online games with full trust of the client. In the old days hacking usually meant altering data at some address in memory that caused either god mode or other effects. Sometimes people alter the data in the data files which causes objects to behave as described in the file.

It isn't rocket science and it isn't particularly impressive. If hackers want to learn how to code then they should go to college and go through interviews to get the job. In software we create products that actually do something useful and it is a lot harder than just piggy backing off of someone else's oversights or mistakes. Creating software from scratch that actually does something constructive is a million times more difficult. For instance writing GTA V from scratch is much harder than someone who figures out one aspect of it they can exploit.

yes modders can defend themselves, who wins depends on their familiarity and speed with their cheats, and who has the better cheats.
i highly suggest getting mods for this game rather than dealing with the constant insanely boring grinding meant to push you into microtransactions, and so you can defend yourself and your friends, just crash any modders that start killing everyone with cheats, problem solved, if he has a friend in the lobby that keeps inviting him back crash them both dont draw attention to yourself just crash them if you see them start acting up. if anyone threatens to ddos you, which gta players are like the second largest community that does this cause they lack brains make sure to let them know its a federal offense, get an ip grabber and you know everything about them so they wouldnt dare, simply telling them its a federal offense is usually enough.

but being fun with your mods is not bad at all using them on non cheaters to grief or cheat with godmode is. crashing non cheaters cause they are killing you is the worst, this game is too easy to do that, git gud or go passive.

The problem is not everyone uses them constructively. We all know that various modifications can make games last longer and improve them but often all you see are cheaters and exploiters that ruin the game. Also no way R* can allow them online b/c if they add features they are only going to regression test R* official added features and could not possibly guarantee all modifications would work. Plus it is still in development and not solely in support phase so no way they are going to allow mods online.
