Just WEIRD screen tearing for no reason mosty just in GTA. It also feels like there is weird input lag on the menus, I tried in borderless windowed no luck, then fullscreen with adaptive Vsync.
Make sure you disable v-sync when you do this, because Windows Aero will happily fight V-sync to provide the exact same service and it'll double down on frame loss.
Have it disabled ingame and forcing it control panel.
Since you know what it is and isn't for sure then why are you here asking us for help?
Cause I'm not sure why I'm getting weird screen tearing. Or if anyone knows how to fix it and experienced it on their own cause this is a game that's weird settings/performance wise.
Yes I understand that much, but when someone told you it was an FPS issue you dismissed it and posted your system specs. FPS Issues are not the same thing as straight up FPS lag. You can have the best system in the world and still have FPS issues.
Based on what others are posting for you, your issue is in fact FPS related. Something to do with your refresh rate not matching up or even reverting. I wouldn't to so quick to dismiss someone idea just because you have a powerful system.
I have an OSD on and the FPS isn't dipping, there's something that's just giving it a weird screen tearing no matter the setting so trying to just correct it.
Gsync is also a good option if you have a monitor/laptop that supports it.
Did you use something like Rivatuner to limit your FPS? I'll check out this method.
Again FPS issues have nothing to do with FPS Lag they are two seperate things. So watching your FPS and saying it doesn't dip is dealing with FPS LAG not FPS General problems like screen tearing.
But as many are saying to you, check your refresh rate.
