Missing mfreadwrite.dll (solved)

I am having this error come up. I have tried several different fixes but they have not worked. I completed re-installed the game and it still doesnt work. Help.

just google 'download NAME.dll file' and read the instructions. once i had a problem like so and i solved this like that

Ok so I downloaded the missing file, but now the game just doesnt load, on the social club launcher it says that the game exited unexpectedly.

I assume that your are using a N/KN version of windows 10. Long story short told. You need this patch:

Explanation: Every time your windows is installing a huge Update, like anniversary or creators Update, you need a new Version of the “Windows Media Feature Pack”. Windows N/KN versions do not provide Media features, which are required by some games like GTA V.

The solution of throwing that .dll in your folder is only going to cause you problems again in the future. Install the file correctly, update your MFP for your windows version correctly.

After see ur post, I remembered of that "hidden" media pack link with the most recent from April 2018.. This last major update from Windows was good to "restart" my pc :V
