Helicopter spawn @ marina in Pacific Standard finale?

So i played the finale 2-3 times with someone, whose strategy was to get a Frogger from the marina before going to the bank and park it at the Las Lagunas Apartment. Later in the heist it would still be there and i already found out how that works.
But i never followed him to the marina to see how he gets the chopper, i just followed him on the map. I tried to replicate this and i only got a chopper to spawn in 1 out of 4 tries. Each time i left the area several times and went back but it didnt work. Just once i immediately saw a Frogger landing so i pulled the npc out of it.

Does anyone know for a fact how to make the chopper spawn? I know it is possible since i saw someone do it 2-3 times in a row.

how would the chopper still be there unless all of you went through the alley? and if you do thats dumb..

Well that is a glitch, you can keep stolen vehicles from despawning

interesting..usually i just take the helicopter from the police station close to the del perro pier..

I know that one, but this way needs less convincing people to follow you ona a rooftop... You spawn at the bikes, and voilà the chopper is there ready to use :)

thats true...always difficult to get randomers to follow your directions :D

It's easy, after stealing a vehicle park close to one of your garages(parking means leave the car)... enter the garage, and leave it again on foot, enter the stolen vehicle again - done. It should not despawn.
You can also use it for a car in front of the bank ;)

if you know how the hacker and garage works, im sure youll find any one the 4-5 helicopters spawning in the city just by looking.

Not really, i think they removed any spawning helicopter from that mission. The frogger is a special case since it doesnt just spawn on ground, it is in midair with an npc inside landing it and you can pull him out to get the chopper - i guess they forgot to remove this one.
If you dont pull out the npc immediately the chopper will take off again

yep! I remember seeing a friend of mine doing that but never really asked him how he did it. He always drive a stolen vehcile to the bikes :D

then why i have i used 3 different ones? havent even played a lot of heists since the update and im sure ill find the unnarmed buzzard soon.

helicopters pretty often spawn on hospitals/police stations. my fav route to get them is go to hospital where is hydra spawn and then to cop station you steal documents during prison break. just drive from one to another till you find heli. usually takes couple minutes. just you gonna need a bike to jump on cop station from bridge if you get one there. other people can go to cop station near canals or the one you steal heli during signal setup. those two locations work too.

so pick them before going to bank and prepare lol... these 4 locations work before entering it and thats how we do with noobs or get easy elites.
