Single player - How to trigger The Good Husband mission?

I started a new playthrough and somehow I can't trigger this quest. I am doing this to get Rickie Lukens unlocked as this is a prerequisite.

Somehow I can't get Amanda to call me. I've been driving around the map with Michael. I am 100% sure I haven't missed the call.

My current progression is just before the first jewel store heist. I have done every quest available for Franlin and Michael except Jewel heist.

According to this forum post: "it appears between mission #7 friend request and mission #9 casing the jewel store. the prerequisites for unlocking it is finishing "friend request"."

So yeah.. any clues?

Try to switch to franklin and do some stranger quests, switch back now and then and go into the stripclub. For some reason it triggers it there sometimes, I still need to do the Singleplayer on PC but I still remember that event.

Hey man thanks for the reply. I've done stranger quests as well. Except the second paparazzi thing in the hills. I will do that. Go to the strip club and if it doesn't trigger, I will start the game all over and try to get the quest right after "Friend request".

Can you explain to me what does the number on the character switch screen mean?
I think currently it shows 2 for Franklin and 2 for Michael, but all I see is paparazzi and Lester mission. Does that number indicate the number of possible missions?

EDIT: I read that the number indeed shows available missions. I have number 2 for Michael and the map only shows Lester for him. There's a slight chance that the other would be The Good Husband.

Yes when switching characters that number indicates how many missions you have open per character, I always do them one by one, sometimes you got to open the map to see a circle where the mission triggers/activates. Some of the random events and quests just don't pop up all the time, so save as much as you can after doing storyline missions for example.

I decided to give up. I played for 30 more minutes. Either it was bugged or I need to get the mission right after Friend Request (as every forum seems to suggest). I'm going for a perfect run in the game and the hardest part seems to be unlocking all these heist members.

Super late comment but since this came up on Google, I managed to trigger the mission after the Jewellery Store Heist by Hanging Out with Amanda. Once I dropped her off, she started the mission about a minute later
