Anyone know how to fix "rockstar game services are unavailable right now"

@pyroflame's issue - had recently redone OS and R*'s updater wasn't properly updating gtav.
Forced current version of gtav/sc in + registry entries - game updated - and worked instantly.

i am running the gta i bought as a disk from rockstar not though steam will that still help?

i too have this issue, it says error syncing cloud whenever i try to.boot to online. none of the common solutions work, so i beleive i was banned. but i dont know why i would have been banned. i received no notice either. i dont know if its temporary or permanent or if it ever does let me to online again if ill even still have my character

@bloodbird - I'd give this link a look as there are a few R* errors but.. different problems.
You are on the steam version so things are a bit easier for you to check/test.

You can also go to storymode and it should inform you if you were banned/unban date.

i bren to story mode and it says nothing. but when searching the error messsge i got, the most common result was that people who've been baned get that message

there's only two factors that could possibly explain why im having this issue. my game worked find yesterday but today i brought home a new internet modem and thats when i had this issue. but i dont know why that woukd cause this.

otherwise i was using a program called net limiter to make my ping connection bad so i can play on empty servers online. this is why i think ive been bsnned. but do. theyreally ban fir that. what would happrn if somrkne had just bad internet?

Doubtful they ban for it - you should outright remove/uninstall it to have less variables to test.
Now a new modem.. especially if it is a modem/router combo - and your old one had port forwarding or DMZ'd for your pc/ip - it could cause issue. (also in the link~)

I dont get this part could you explain it to me a little more im not too tech savy.

Try changing DNS servers from automatic to google, or back to auto. (for tcp/ipv4..)
Google IP's are 8.8.8.8 - 8.8.4.4 (restart pc after each change to be sure~)

I was playing all day and was getting a lot of errors. I have not played in a while but it was never this bad. It should only be maintenence. I hope.

Like - deleting social club folders / reinstall - I wouldn't suggest that in your case.
(though you can check - open program files / rockstar games / social club)
(rightclick subprocess.exe - properties - details tab - it should be 1.2.1.4)

Actually my subprocess.exe says its only version 1.1.7.8 is that a problem? it might be outdated

Pyroflame had other issues - got the game/SC updated properly - game worked instantly.
